Lewis Capaldi – Wish You The Best

We were asked by Lewis Capaldi and Universal Music Group to write and direct a new concept for LC’s upcoming single ‘Wish You The Best’. Making use of our strong in house team and trusted external resources, we quickly pulled together a music video that was shared globally around the world. It became a viral sensation when people posted it on TikTok along with the ‘try not to cry’ challenge.

What we did

The Concept

Lewis explained that he wanted to create a modern telling of the legend that is Greyfriar’s Bobby.

The Approach

The concept needed to be powerful and emotional, so we spent a number of days coming up with a new story that would support the beautiful song that Lewis had written.

Alongside our team, we pulled in a group of respected freelancers who are at the top of their game. Having worked with them all before, we knew we could step on set with confidence that we will get the outcome we had hoped for. In order to elevate the engagement further, we were fortunate to be able to cast David Bradley (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter). This meant that the video spread further than we could imagine, due to the loyal fan base Bradley has.
